Panker Stud, founded in Schleswig-Holstein in 1947 by the Kurhessische Hausstiftung under the leadership of Landgrave Philipp von Hessen, is one of the oldest Trakehner studs in Germany. For almost six decades, Panker Stud has provided a worthy setting for the careful and conscientious breeding of valuable, noble Trakehner horses.
The proven herd of mares, which traces its origins back to the main Trakehnen stud, is characterised by high quality. This is not only reflected in their breeding success: great expertise in the constant endeavour to optimise breeding success and the versatile training of their offspring are the guarantees for the success of Panker Stud.
The stud's terrain is ideal for breeding. Over 25 hectares of lush and nutrient-rich pastureland with mature trees are available. Spacious boxes, excellent care and extensive training facilities in all disciplines provide an ideal basis for the outstanding and versatile performance of our horses.
We breed traditionally and performance-orientated from the main Trakehner stud lines of "Herbstzeit" and "Tapete". Both young horses and just trained horses are always for sale. For any further Information in english, please contact us directly. We are happy to help you.
Our annual foal show took place here in Panker on 6th of July 2024. A total of 13 foals, three of which were bred by us, presented themselves to the judging committee in glorious sunshine and with many spectators. We are looking forward to the further development of this promising foal crop.
